Plot Point Map Interval Calculator
This tool allows you to create a line on the map and generate points along that line at a specified interval. Here's how to use it:
- Pan and Zoom the map so you can see the area of interest.
- Provide the interval for your survey locations (every X meters within 1%).
- Click the "Play" button to start the workflow.
- Click on the map to place line start.
- Move your mouse to see the distance, and click again to add line end.
- Points will be created at the interval specified along the line.
- Click "Download GeoJSON" to save the generated points as a GeoJSON file.
- Click the "Stop" button to end and reset.
You can adjust the interval between points using the input box. The distance between the two points will be shown in the readout.
Additional Features:
- Basemap Selector: Click the layer button (top-left) to switch between OpenStreetMap, Aerial Imagery, and MNRF Topographic basemaps.
- Geolocation: Click the blue button (top-left) to center the map on your current GPS location.
- URL Parameters: You can specify a starting location by adding
?loc=latitude,longitude to the URL. For example: ?loc=44.081022,-78.381036
